To all;
Having been a member of WACA since 1991, (#2576) I must say for the most part it’s been an enjoyable experience for me, but all things come to an end. I’ve met many interesting folks over the years while collecting Winchesters, and glad to have done so. If there’s such a thing as reincarnation, I’ll catch you on the next go round. I figure I’ve a few more years left (Good Lord willing) and I want to spend more of it driving my “Old Betsey” (’77 Corvette), which I’ve owned for about 30 years, and not sitting around collecting stuff. In any case all of you take care, and watch your “6”.

Well, I too have stopped “collecting stuff” (now beginning to give it away) & without a Corvette to make up the difference. But that’s all right, as I hate driving. But sorry to see you drive off into the sunset. Good Luck dodging the Big Rigs that now run like trains without tracks on every highway.
As a former Teamster, I can say, watch out for the Scabs that are clogging up our highways. Two weeks of training and they are on the road.
I sold my “65” Stingray years ago and wish I still had it.
I too am starting to give guns away, but just cannot stop collecting more. Just bought a nice S&W M41, and a nice M67-A Winchester Boys Rifle.
When will it end? Probably when they bury me. Big Larry

No reason to stop, as long as you can afford it, because there are people nearby who’ll know what to do with your stuff when you become unable to manage, as is inevitable for all of us who look back at 70 as a young age. No one for me to call but 911.

I have Grandkids, Great Grandkids, and a few Great Great Grandkids. No problems giving my guns away. I would like to give my Stepson a bunch, but he moved to Italy and cannot get them over there. Too bad, as he is a retired Border Patrol pilot, and has left all his guns in my care. Thanks for sharing Clarence. Your friend, Big Larry
