I don’t know. I’m surprised your able to post pictures with yours, as I can’t.

Maybe they all disappear into the either or something.

Maverick

P.S. Do you have to do math with yours?

I seem to be lucky that all my settings must be correct. It isnt anything Im doing. I have attached pics to emails and have used the same format to put pics on other sites. But I could never successfully set up the middle man photo account to post pics in the old WACA format.

I think tho that some of my posts disappeared a few days ago , along with others.

Just bought a new camera that is working and Im able to insert the SD card and get the pics on my old Vista computer,  because a screen comes up automatically and prompts you through it. However on this Windows 8 system there is no prompt so I dont have a clue how to access pics and need an 8 year old to teach me, but may go to my Computer witch doctor (if he will let me in)  Thats how Computer savvy I am

The pic at the bottom of my posts is the new signature format,  and comes up automatically on all posts by me, so I will change it up if I can figure how to get pics on my Windows 8 from SD card where I can find them

(I also seem to be able to edit )

I had a strange encounter with a alternate reality  on this site 2 days ago I just wonder if any of you had it too.

For several days before I was on here and posted but I was getting errors at the top of each page I was on but didn’t think much of it, figured it was a glitch in the site. I setup so I was subscribed to the General discussion forum as well as others and would get email notices of new topics but if I would click on the link it would take me to the forum but it would say ” this topic does not exist”. It wasn’t until was on here on the 17th and Maverick and 25-20 were posting and I kept getting the email notices of the new posts and when I tried to find them, the topic ” Is it possible to post” did not exist.  At the bottom of the page it shows whos online at the time and it showed I was the only one which I thought was strange. I was in the process of looking up Berts contact info and something happened and when I checked the General forum things were different. Topics that I had been posting to, one called “Forum Traffic” was gone and this one “Is it possible to post” was there. The errors I was getting on each page were gone too. My post count was up to 1820 and now that I’m back in this reality I’m down to 1814. Its like the Winchester Forum split in 2 last week and there was 2 versions of this forum running.

Hello Bob,

With all the comments on errors and complications folks are having with the new forum, I’m surprised none of the administrators, or site designers aren’t giving any feedback on what can be done to fix it. I think I echo several others on here that have said we sure appreciate the efforts that went into putting this together but with all the problems it sure is apparent that the traffic is almost non-existent at times. As of today I just miss the old forum that ran fairly smooth. I hope they get it figured out soon and everyone has enough patience to stick around.

Ditto.

Will the old posts, specifically those under the Winchester Rifles section, ever be available to be viewed again?  There was a lot of information in those old posts.

Thanks,

Brad

I agree.  Hardly no traffic compared to the old forum. I really enjoyed reading and learning from others.  Hope it continues.

I would guess they are on a old server but I would not hold my breath to see them again.
