Tried listing them on FB Marketplace and got booted every time as they somehow have decided books are weapons. Anyway, I’m in the PNW and have 50 or so books including R.L. Wilson and many other desirable books I no longer need. I guessed about 25 dollars or more for medai mail per lot so am trying to sell them locally. Longview, Wa. area. I’ll try load a few pics. There are more books. I haven’t taken pics of all five lots yet.
Shoot low boys. They're riding Shetland Ponies.
You can sell them on ebay. Selling by lot is the easiest way, but you can look up values for the better ones on this site: https://www.abebooks.com/servlet/SearchEntry?=Find%20Book&sts=t Might have better luck listing them here individually. I’m currently faced with the same problem, except multiplied by about 20X.
If you put together a complete list I would like to see it. What book is the red/black Winchester book in the 5th picture?

I may be interested in them as one lot. My collection is at the point where I have little for sale and very few holes to fill. My library is getting better but it has a few holes and I the ones I don’t need would help another collector.

If you don’t have Ned Robert’s book, fill that hole first; it’s the most historically important of them all.

Thanks, I’m not familiar with that one.

It is “Winchester – The gun that won the west by Harold Williams. It covers history and Winchesters relations with other busineses and and countries,

I understand the conundrum of disposing of books. There are some that are in demand and sell well, but most of us have a lot of gun books that won’t bring much. This is apparent to me when I browse ebay. I understand the efficiency of batching books. However, when I look at batches of books, I usually see one or two I am interested in, mixed in with others that I already have, or don’t want. I don’t know what the best solution is but I would enjoy seeing it turn up here. I’ve got a large load of them that are gathering dust and they are not going to fit into a small nursing home room.
Edit: my last sentence highlights how for most of my collecting career (i.e. when I was younger than I am now), this was not a concern or anything I gave any thought to.

Thanks, Bob. I have that book already and could have just gone through my book case, DUH.
