My grandfather gave this to me prior to his passing and I’m curious if it has any value or collectible status or simply if there is anyone that would like this for their museum.

not sure how to insert an image but it is the original recording used to mass produce duck calling records from Herb Parson from the 1950’s.

If the “Duck Dynasty” family ever establishes their own museum, they might appreciate having it–they sure loved duck-calling!  Otherwise, one of the decoy museums, such as the Shelburne Museum in Shelburne, Vt, housing a collection too large to see in a single day.

Here are the images.  You may want to find a turntable and speakers, play the record, and make a digital recording (video) of the playback.

You could try contacting The Ohio decoy carvers and collectors association too, they may be able to help.

Never ceases to amaze me–what strange, if not bizarre, material turns up on YT!

Years ago the Gunrunner auction house had a Herb Parson book for sale. I don’t remember much else about it, but my old memory came to light about that.
