Hello Gary,

I will assume that it is a Winchester Model 54 ?

Is the magazine floor plate and trigger guard the only part of the rifle that is engraved?

Based solely on the appearance, it does not appear to be factory engraving.

Check with Griffin & Howe records…  the trigger guard engraving style looks like Fugger… the floor plate style appears different to me..  I wouldn’t mind being the care taker of that rifle….
