Spotted this rifle NIB with presentation case on Gun Broker . Cant seem to find any info on them. Would like to find out how many were made. Serial on this is 6000585. Interested in it as I live just outside Edmonton. Would appreciate any info.

I’m not familiar with these.  I will say Rock Island sold one earlier this year:

If there’s anyone on this site who would know, it’s Henry Mero.

I suspect that while Winchester may have made this carbine, it was never marketed or retailed by Winchester.  Hence, of less interest to Winchester collectors.  Those special runs (and there are supposedly hundreds of different special runs) that were ordered from Winchester, are thought by most collectors to not be official commemoratives.

Steve,

The one currently listed on GB is the same gun that sold at RIA.

Nope it’s not a Winchester Commemorative, it may be a special issue like the Coca Cola or U.S. Marshalls but most likely a private issue like the Larry Bird or Roy Rogers Jr. I don’t know who these were built by, or how many
