Great to see young people interested in our hobby! Even better he’s knowledgeable and articulate. Looking forward to meeting them in CODY next year. I like the tease about their exhibit. Should be fun.

I’ve been able to provide a couple items for Jarod’s rifles… I’ve enjoyed our conversations… very nice guy. I enjoyed seeing his display a few years back, will be fun to see “what’s new”. 🙂

Patience and Jarod have a very impressive collection of “only” 47 pre-64 Model 70s. The display they put on at the WACA in 2023 was spectacular and I expect next year’s will be better. Certainly “worth the price of admission”…
I know where I’ll be hanging out…

P.S. True… The reporter didn’t know the difference between 9×57 Mauser and 9MM Parabellum or “Martial” and “Marshall”, but I like the distinction drawn between “collecting” and “gathering”…

Jarod, I used to hunt in Roset, outside of Gillette at Carl, and Vicky Blacks ranch. Very nice people, perhaps you know of them? It is nice that some young folks appreciate the finest magazine rifle that was ever made! Looks like it may be worth a trip to Cody next year!
