Headed north towards Cody in a little over two weeks, really looking forward to the trip. Who else is going, what are you bringing?
I will be there. Bringing my wife.

Watch for the big Brian Head fire near Cedar City. Let me know the date you will be here so I can alert Tom and save a place at Bruno’s. Larry
I should be at your place on Monday, July 10. Lunch at Bruno’s sounds awesome.

I will be there as well and I hope to meet you guys. I’m sure some of us have been there at the same time but failed to connect. I will have my WACA badge on so speak up if you see me aimlessly wandering in pursuit of my next Winchester.
Its a great show and a wonderful little cowboy town to spend the weekend in.

My problem with seeing you guys is that I don’t always have your user name connected with your actual name in my mind. I will put “JWA” on my badge under my name and hope some of you add your user name to your badge also.
Looking forward to the show once again.

Or just look for a big stack of red books.I’ll be the old scruffy guy and my shooting buddy is even older & scruffier. I don’t know where my table will be but I’ll have an extra chair. Still trying to decide what I’m bringing to sell; have a friend’s flat band 32WS to sell but don’t know other than that.

The last time I saw Bert he looked like Grizzly Adams, or was it Angry Santa? Hopefully he has groomed his beard a bit more so he doesn’t scare of any unsuspecting children that may wander into the show.
Looking forward to seeing all of you……… even “Highwall” Hartman.

I was “Evil Santa”, and my goal was to scare all children into fearing Christmas!

Evil Santa;
Reckon there will be any decent 1885’s in Cody? Finished Campbell’s books and looking forward to seeing a few in the flesh. Have only seen a few in recent months, including a Winder musket I probably should have bought. All kidding aside last year’s show is quite possibly one of the reasons I’ve developed an interest in 1885 and 1887 rifles. No surprise, main thing I learned from Campbell’s books is that I have a lot to learn. Looking forward to continuing my education and visiting with you about single shots, Bert.
Started Schwing’s book on the slide action rifles recently, was a bit embarrassed to learn that John and Matt Browning designed this little gem. I now recall reading a bit about it in JMB’s bio but somehow it slipped my mind. Looking forward to examining a few of these as well.
TxGunNut and others,
I intend to be at Cody, barring something untoward happening to me between now and then. I should be set up on the side towards the hallway. Got to be close to the restrooms, you know! Be glad to meet some of you and put a face with your on line moniker. I bet I may know some of you already! It is getting harder and harder to wait for the 11th when my son and I hit the road west!

Georgia and I will be there of course. Rob Kassab said he would buy us dinner at Wyoming Chop house! Bringing lots of “smalls” including several boxed sets of Model 1894 reloading tools, Winchester ammo. etc. Will have about 8 Model 1894s on the table plus some other odds and sods. Looking forward to seeing everyone their………………

I’ll be there Friday afternoon and all day Saturday. Would love to get a table and stay for the duration, but can’t ever seem to get away from the ranch that long.
Am looking forward to reconnecting with old friends and making new ones. Hoping to put faces to the names for some of you on this forum.
Will be on the hunt for interesting 95’s for myself and Colts for the wife. (Always helps to find a nice gun for her collection first. Significantly lowers her resistance to my overspending on Winchesters.)

Seems to be a good time to sell Colts, not purchase. Sold a 3rd gen SAA I bought NIB a few years back for a nice profit recently. Similar guns seem to have gone up 15-20% in recent months. Wish I had a few more to sell.

Usually not a lot of Colts at Cody, but she always seems to find a good one at a reasonable price. Thankfully, it keeps her interest up in the show, so I don’t have to travel alone. She doesn’t like the long drive, but won’t miss the show for fear she’ll miss out on a really good gun.
