As this is my first and most likely the only time I’ll be able to attend the annual WACA show in Cody, I was wondering if some one would give me the skinny on the Saturday night dinner. Tickets? Reservations? Cost? Thanks
Tom,
Yes, you will need to reserve (purchase) a ticket. Contact Heather Martin, she has all the information and the tickets.

Oh ok, thank you.
It is worth the price of the meal just to visit with everyone in person.
Looking forward to seeing you there!

Happy Easter! The information on the banquet will be in the Winchester Collector that was mailed on April 15th. There is information under the Cody Show section of the forum as well.
The Buffalo Bill Center of the West does a fantastic job with the banquet. The food is excellent, the staff are friendly, and the location is perfect. It is top notch.
The banquet is the time we recognize our displayers, so it is important to support them because they all put so much work into their displays. We will have a raffle, and our guest speaker, Paul Andrew Hutton.
I don’t think you will be disappointed.
Tom,
We enjoyed the banquet because it was a a good way to put names and faces together. The food was good but the social atmosphere is what made it special.
I may have said this before- can’t remember –but the gun library in the basement is impossible to enjoy without an index. All you see are walls of pull-out boxes, numbered. Once you pull a box out on its supporting arm, you see the faces of the box are glass and you can examine the gun inside closely. But you can’t find anything without an index. Nobody seemed to know where I might get one. I’d not wait until you get to Cody to get one.
I’m sorry we can’t attend and get together with you.

Bill-
As I recall the drawers are in alphabetical order, from Anschutz to Winchester or thereabouts.
