Does anyone have a carbine lettered with a tang sight. I know it’s very unusual &
would be rare but just wondering if anyone here had one or ever seen one lettered. I did find these ones on Rob’s website.

Bert might have one in his 94 survey but I would say by the lack of responses finding one lettered is extremely rare. I have a Lyman no1 D code on my 92 SRC. It looked foreign at first glance but now it distinguishes it from my other carbines & I like it.

I have a model 1892 carbine that letters with a Lyman Receiver sight, and no rear sight seat.
Very nice 92 tionesta1. Micheal(twobit) may be interested for his 92 survey if he doesn’t have it already.

The rcvr. sight is scarce enough on any ’92, esp. a carbine, but ordering it without the slot, which was ordinarily an extra charge, is very exceptional!

Thanks Don. I know it’s an unusual location for the patent date. I ran this by twobit, and I believe he has a few with that location in his survey. Can’t remember exactly what he said about it.
