Just got home from the Calgary show, it was excellent as always. We had a couple fellas up from the U.S. taking advantage of the dollar difference and I know the one guy, (no names), left with a lot of cool Winchesters. Personally there were no fine 1890’s for Me, however there were about 20+ mod. 1876 N.W.M.P. saddle ring carbines available. Here’s a pic of My 1894 deluxe display, plus 5 first models and 4 trppers.

Great display Henry! Thanks for waving the WACA flag (and table covers) up North! I will have to add Calgary to my show list, it is a great area.

Hurry someone call the emergency help line! That man is a hoarder and needs an intervention! He’s obviously addicted to 94s and needs help.
I offer my services to help with his addiction and will dispose of all these 94s.
Sincerely,
Maverick
P.S. Beautiful collection by the way.

Bill; I would love to get back to doing shows Stateside, but it’s damn near impossible and cost prohibitive. The last time I tried , I had tables booked at 4 shows, Louisville, Tulsa, Houston and Las Vegas.I got turned around at the border because a U.S,Customs inspector took a dislike to Me ’cause I knew more than They did about antiques etc. , and told Me “You’re not going to a gun show today”. It’s a shame because from My first show in Milwaulkee in 1973 to My last show in Louisville a couple of years ago, I had met so many wonderful folks and seen and traded a lot of beautiful antique firearms. Maybe people will come to Their senses someday and We can get back to “normal”.

Henry, I surely HOPE we can return to the “normal” we had, but I fear that is not going to ever happen. Best we can do is adapt and try to overcome the new “normal’. Hope at least you can make the Cody show if not with any firearms. But that is a ways for you to travel. Look me up if you do, please. I am on the side nearest the rest rooms (for a reason!) Tim
