I recently received a copy of the ARMAX Journal I purchased. It is volume V – 1995. It is certainly an excellent publication. Very well done. This is the volume that the lead article (81 pages) is: “A gun in her hands – Women in Firearms Advertising, 1900-1920. It is excellent with lots of wonderful examples of women in the ads from that era. I enjoyed it. What I also found both informative and interesting was the extensive survey results on the Model 1894. A great deal of detailed information there – which probably most of you know.
My question is, what other models were surveyed and covered in different editions of the ARMAX Journal?
I recall someone mentioned it would be nice to have some sort of index for the ARMAX – that sure would be helpful.
I have 1 throu 6 but missing volume 2 and there is nothing for Winchester lever actions except for whats in 5,

So as far as we know, there was never a records survey done on any model other than the 1894? I really loved all the data presented on the Model 1894.

Do you have the vol that includes the Robinson rifle piece by Scott Jamison (who also wrote the excellent Bullard book), & if so what is its number? I foolishly loaned my copy to someone & never got it back.

Steve,
I believe that surveys of other Models have been accomplished for at least a few other Models, but not yet published. If you contact Jesi at the CFM records office, she can tell you which other Models have been surveyed. I am working on a detailed survey of the Model 1885, but other projects keep getting in my way.
