OfflineThe first attachment is the 1967 aerial photo that has appeared in the Winchester Collector for reference.
The second photo shows the renovation of Building 1 into luxury lofts under the name Winchester Lofts.
The third photo is part of the unrestored factory in the vicinity of Building 7 on the aerial.
I was shocked that there is no historical sign or marker talking about the Winchester factory or even Oliver Winchester.
Does anyone know of one that I might have missed?![]()

OfflineSuch a shame. I like your last photo the best. What part of the factory is it? Looks like there is a gap in the fence wide enough to pass through. Did you venture onward?
Sincerely,
Maverick

Not this time since I had the family with me. You can see what the inside looks like if you Google abandoned Winchester factory and look at the photos.
Sincerely,
Jon

Did you notice the emblem on the signs (on the renovated building) is a variation of the proof mark?
I had not noticed that. It is part of the Winchester Repeating Arms Company Historic District allowing them to use the name? It is also located on Winchester Ave.
