Does the winchester factory offer any kind of a search on older model guns,where sold,special orders,factory reworks ,etc?

Hello Melvin,
The "Winchester factory" no longer exists. Much of the original historical information and production ledgers are now kept at the Cody Firearms Museum in Cody, WY. What you can have researched will depend on which Model of shotgun or rifle you are interested in and what the serial number range is.
