Check out the forthcoming "Winchester Collector" magazine for details concerning this awesome Deluxe Winchester 1873 short rifle which has been custom made for us by Doug Turnbull Mfg. Totally refinished, new Model 1873 in .357 caliber. Stocks have been checkered at 24 lines per inch in Winchester’s "H" pattern and engraved in #10 style Winchester pattern. The hammer, lever, buttplate and fore-end cap have been case colored using the bone meal and charcoal process.
