Does the Cody museum do letters for Marlin rifles? I am in the process of buying one ( i know…blasphemy, but the price is too good to pass up. Especially if the gun is correct!) and it has some pretty special features.

Thanks guys!

Yes, they have the old Marlin records, but they only go up to around 355000, and that’s about 1906

That’s good news! This one is in the 118xxx range.

This rifle has a 20" 1/2 round barrell with a half mag. Hopefully it letters!

Manuel,

Marlin did make short rifles! And the 1/2oct. 1/2 mag was a popular in the shorties.

Good luck, Clark

the 1/2 inch in length on the barrel is a possible red flag
if you will go over to the Marlin Collectors Association web
site and shoot Rick Reginer gunrunner a pm he has the old
Marlin records and can tell u if it letters don’t expect much
even if it does letter as the Marlin records usually don’t give
much information good luck GJ
