The Big Reno show kicked off today and was not too crowded, although that will probably change for tomorrow. Aside from the normal plethora of Winchester lever guns there seemed to be a huge amount of Winchester .22 pumps. Lots and lots of 61’s, 62’s, and 1890’s. I had to buy a lonely looking grooved 61 just so I would fit in with the crowd 😀

Twobit, I PM’d you the serial number and specifics over on RFC.

My favorite item of note was a WJRC kit with the 1904. It had a few issues but was mostly complete. If it is still there in the morning I am thinking hard about giving it a new home……..

I saw a few of you there as well as the iconic gun show vendors. Bert would have been bored, only a couple of Winder’s and a few 1885’s.

Anyway, that is it for the quick recap, hope to see more of you guys tomorrow. Off to the crap tables now to win some more gun money

Regards,

Hah hah… fortunately, I have a lot of interest in much more than just the Winders and 1885s ❗

Bert

p.s. Enjoy the show, and try not to lose all of your $$$ at the Craps table.

Keep these show reports coming. Since I work heavy construction and my boss considered April to November to be his time. The chances of me getting to any of these big shows held during the warm months is pretty slim (at least for the next 12 years until I retire). The show reports are the best I can do.

Yep, I know, I just said that so you wouldn’t feel so bad about missing the show 🙂

Looked at two decent solid frame 1890’s also, was very tempted by one of them but decided to pass.
