I just picked up a model 94 manufactured in 1949, its in good shape however the stock has been repaired. Should I replace the wood with a vintage stock or keep the original repaired stock for the best value. Does anyone have a decent unrepaired stock?

I would find a 1948 – 1963 production butt stock and replace the one currently on the gun.

Thank you, Bert, I just ran the serial number and found its a 46. Is the stock different? Thank you.

Yes, it is. You are limited to a late 1945 to early 1947 production stock.
