The single picture does not contain enough detail to adequately evaluate and assess your Model 1866. At a minimum, (3) pictures per side (front to back), and clear pictures showing the factory markings on the barrel, the sights, and the butt plate.

I was to the Tulsa Show a few weeks ago, saw 5 for sale from $3,500-7,000. None as nice as yours and I’m pretty sure they went home with the seller. 1866 muskets are not very popular with 66 collectors. The saber bayonet is a neat feature so I would say yours is worth $7,500, but a slow sell. Your gun has nice wood and metal and would be worth a lot on a carbine.
