I am close to half as old as that rifle, and I am in “excellent condition considering” my age. I too would put a high “priced to sell quickly” prod in my advertisement, hoping someone would bite before they had time to see me in a true light and regret their bringing me home! But, I am not worth that 2200 because considering my condition without the blur of age, I just ain’t that nice of a prize anymore….
As the others have noted, perhaps better photos would help us to get beyond the advertisement and see the rifle’s true condition.
More pics would be helpful. I would like to see how the wood fits the metal. Looking at pic #3 it appears that the wood isn’t high and proud to the metal, like perhaps it was sanded at one time. Could just be that one pic, but without more it’s hard to tell. Looks like it still has lots of blue and I like the rear sight. How is the bore?
Shoot low boys. They're riding Shetland Ponies.
