I have for sale a rare Winchester Model 47 , bolt action single shot 22 rimfire Produced from 1948 – 1954 only 43,123 produced. This Winchester is in a really nice grained walnut stock. The model 47 had a few unique features. The first and most notable is the use of an automatic safety, When the bolt is retracted for loading, the safety is automatically engaged, as is the cocking mechanism. The model 47 is also the only pre-1964 Winchester bolt action .22 to feature a red “fire ready” indicator. The rifles chambered in .22 Short & Long Rifle caliber and had a built in feeding system so that a cartridge could be dropped into the ejection window and reliably fed into the chamber.
The safety lever, trigger and bolt were all chrome plated. The bolt featured twin extractors, with a firing pin that protruded from the top of the bolt face.
I am asking $345.00 for this rifle with buyer paying FFL shipping charges. My FFL is $50.00. This rifle must ship to a FFL. Will accept a USPS money order. Please email me at [email protected] with Model 47 in subject line. This rifle is crossposted on CMP site.

Hi Bryan,
Your link for the photos did not work for me. Does it have the open or peep sight?
Thanks!
Nevermind, I got the link to work on the CMP site so I saw the answer, it has the 32B open rear sight.
Here is the fixed link – https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1t13Z-oYTy8AMXLV0cL99SHDJGTssAiUd
