WTS: 1905 Winchester S.L. dated 1917|Winchester Swap Meet|Forum|Winchester Collector

I have for sale a 1905 Winchester S.L. in 35 Caliber. Serial number dates this rifle to 1917. What can be said, it’s a 1905 Winchester the precursor to the 1907 Winchester. I believe this is the first semi automatic rifle that Winchester produced. It is a very solid rifle. The only issue is the bluing on the receiver. It is to be desired but it could be taken down and re-blued and be a gorgeous gun. Everything is original and works great. There is no rust on this gun. Also the magazine is missing but may yet be found in uncles collection. If found I will mail it to you on my dime. I am gonna start at $575.00 plus $50.00 for the FFL shipping.
