I am in search of a Winchester Model 1892 SRC in 44 WCF. I prefer manufacture dates between 1900 – 1920. Best case scenario is maximum of $3,500 purchase price. Looking for a functional shooter. I hope this is enough info to start. Thank you in advance for any consideration. (I’ve updated this post from a couple months ago.)
Thanks for the info. I’ve been searching Gunbroker and Guns Int’l every night for the past several months. I’m still learning what to look for and related values, so still relatively new to the search process and taking things pretty slowly so I don’t experience any buyers remorse, ha.

Welcome, Wesley! Best way to learn about the guns you’re interested in is to look at and handle lots of guns. If there’s a show in your area it will afford you a much better opportunity than online sites. You may also be able to learn from the collectors at the show.
