OfflineIt is my understanding that the Model 1892 Carbines you are referring to were actually purchased by the Santa Fe Argentinian Police force and are marked “POLICIA Prov. SANTA FE” (not military), and that their Police armory converted them from 44 WCF to 45 ACP after the fact. I do not believe that Winchester had anything to do with chambering them in 45 ACP.
