I would like to purchase a bolt lever or the whole bolt if necessary for my early model 52 in the 6000 serial number range. The one on the gun now is bent the opposite direction.

Thanks,

Ken

A bolt was on ebay few days ago, but don’t know which type; all I remember was the astounding price:  $300!  I’ll try to find it again.

Here it is, but not the one you need:

https://www.ebay.com/itm/266742503453?mkevt=1&mkpid=0&emsid=e11021.m43.l1120&mkcid=7&ch=osgood&euid=cf80c736d1aa4947b25c5c33c145fd3d&bu=43185806222&ut=RU&osub=-1%7E1&crd=20240330061853&segname=11021

I suspect the one you have can be repaired.  If you don’t know anyone else, send it to Taylor Machine; he has website.

Hi Clarence thanks for the response I saw two on ebay but I don’t believe they would work for my gun they are in the 40k and 70k serial number range, I’m hoping some one has just the correct bolt handle they are willing to sell.

I happen to know a 52 pre-A slow lock breech bolt will be on eBay tonight after 9 PM Eastern time. It might be just what you need.

Can’t get over what 52 bolts are being listed for on ebay; I thought $300 was astounding, but here’s one for $400!

https://www.ebay.com/itm/364824323599?mkevt=1&mkpid=0&emsid=e11021.m43.l1120&mkcid=7&ch=osgood&euid=bccb246ae1c8497eb8f0ae3b2822a547&bu=43185806222&ut=RU&osub=-1%7E1&crd=20240405061814&segname=11021

Of course, “listing” doesn’t mean selling at that price.

Clarence there are alot of things gun related that the prices have gone up. I can remember when m1 carbines were $200.00 and I didn’t buy them then, doubt I be buying them at the prices they are now either.
