Hi guys, I’m looking for an 1884 reloading tool deprimer pin for 38-40. Just bought the reloading tool but it was missing the deprimer pin.

Thanks for your help!

Winchester made the 1882 Tool, they never made a 1884 Tool. They’re a couple of guys on Ebay selling reproduction / fake / non-original pins. They would be the best bet on getting a new pin.

An original de-capping pin will be really tough to come by. You’ll be a good while waiting on getting an original pin, but you never know when you get lucky.

Sincerely,

Maverick

Thanks for the heads up. I didn’t have the tool in front of me. Yes, 1882 is correct! I was hoping one of you guys had a lead from someone selling parts. This ebay method might be the way to go. I figured they’d be hard to find, since they are loose.

Does anyone have all of the correct methods that you would use the tool? Been playing with it, but don’t have the deprimer to see for sure what all the steps are to make a boolit!

Thanks Terry
