The rifle I recently purchased arrived with a broken hammer.  I would like to buy a Model 1894 Hammer for a Close-coupled/set trigger system.  I’d purchase the hammer by itself, or the hammer with whatever parts for the trigger assembly you’d care to sell.

Please send a PM.

I looked last night and didn’t see any on Ebay.

Thanks, Wincacher.  I did look at those last night.

The one I am searching for is not a standard hammer.  The base and notches of the hammer I’d like to find is different from a normal 1894’s hammer.

Here is the broken one.

Ouch!  Those set trigger hammers with the fly are extremely hard to find.  Been looking for one for an 1885 for years and last saw one for an 1886 about 3 years ago on GB.  At least Model 1894’s were produced in much larger quantities so one might pop up.

Indeed!  Paid $305 for one for a Model 1886 3 years ago.
