I am looking for a Lyman #1 sight for a Winchester Model 1886. Must have only an “N” stamped on the bottom. Also would prefer one that the finish is in very good condition.

And, if it is not too much to ask. I don’t want to take out a second mortgage to afford it. Laugh

There is one on ebay that is in almost 100% condition with the original box for 600 or best offer. You might want to check that out…

$600 is too much for a sight to go on the gun. Your paying a couple hundred for the box.

Thank you for your replies. The sight on Ebay is marlk “N 1” which according to my research was only used on Model 1886 in .33 Cal.

I wouldn’t pay $600 even if it was the correct sight.
