Hello, I bought an 1873 in 44-40 that was shipped to me. It’s not a special gun owned by anyone famous but I like it. It arrived with a broken rear sight snapped right in front of the buckhorn if you look closely. The parts were in the bottom of the box. The elevator is stamped pat 1901 and the serial number puts the gun as a 1903 manufacture. Any help would be appreciated. You can message me here or email to [email protected]. Thank You.
It measures almost exactly 3″ from the tip of the arrow to the back edge of the buckhorn.
