OfflineSelling Full & Sealed Box of 12 Rounds Of Vintage Frankford Arsenal Revolver .45 Schofield Cartridges Dated January 1884/June 13 1887. Manufactured at the Frankford Arsenal, these 12-round boxes of .45 caliber revolver ammunition were adopted for use in both the Colt Model 1873 and the Smith & Wesson Model 1875 Schofield. With the introduction of the Schofield Revolver in 1875, this shorter cartridge could be used in both the Colt and Schofield (with its shorter cylinder) and thus simplified the process of issuing ammunition. Box is in excellent condition and still sealed with the pull string still attached. Label is complete and fully legible. I took photos of all sides of the box. Asking $450 shipped. Please send me a PM if interested.
Thanks,
Don
