I have a Model 1894, ser # 125520 ( man. 1898). It currently has the wrong rear sight on it for that time period. I am looking for the proper sight setup. I also have a Model 94 ser # 4112201( man. 1975). I need the forearm and buttstock for this one. The ones on it now don’t appear to fit properly.
To start this out, Model 1894 S/N 125520 was not manufactured in the year 1898 (Antique). Instead, it was manufactured in October, 1901. If you desire accurate Winchester DOM information, I highly recommend that you use this tool in the future – Dates | Winchester Collector
Can you post a clear picture of the sight currently on your 1901 production Model 1894?

Here are a couple of pictures. Hope this helps.
Are these the pictures of your 1901 production Model 1894? If they are, it would be a real waste of time & money replacing the rear sight. The barrel is not correct for a 1901 production Model 1894. Further, the receiver and barrel have been refinished (reblued), and the forend stock has been heavily sanded and refinished.

Ok, thanks for that info. My next question would be, with the barrel being not the correct time period for this firearm, how would one know if it is safe to fire and would I need special ammunition to do so. Since it is not a good example of a collector gun I would like to know it is safe to fire.
The barrel is newer than the receiver frame. As long as it is mechanically sound (functions properly), it is very likely to be safe to shoot. That stated, if you have doubts about it, have it examined by a gun smith. In regards to ammo, 30-30 ammo has remained unchanged since its inception in the year 1895.
