And for the lever action guys here are a couple of Model 94’s that I picked up along the way. I have shot quite a few hogs with the flat band 30 WCF rifle but it is time for it to move along. The 25-35 carbine is a nice gun which has seen very little shooting use but obviously has wear from being in the scabbard. No safe queens here. I hope they find a happy home.

Thanks for looking….and bidding!

Thanks.
Of possible interest, your Carbine is in a fair sized batch of other 25-35 W.C.F. Carbines that were made at the very tail end of that caliber marking. The next batch of 25-35s made were all marked “25-35 WIN.”

Bert,
Well that would surely add a couple hundred $$ in value then! What % of the carbines are 25-35?
Thanks

From 1927 through 1953 (when the 25-35 was discontinued), just 4.74% of all Model 94s made were 25-35s.

Thanks Bert. I have added that info to the description. I have one of the VERY late ones, SN 2033192 which is in perfect condition.

Hi guys,
Thanks for the bidding interest so far guys. I have had a couple of inquiries regarding the bore condition of the 94’s. They both are in wonderful condition and I have taken photos of both of them and uploaded them to the auctions. Take a look!
Thanks

Bert: 4.74% for those years would give about 49,630 guns in 25-35. For the first 353,999 guns made, 10.45% were 25-35 for an amount of 36,993 guns.
Do you have any numbers for s/n 354,000 through 997,938 ( end of 1926 ) for the % of 25-35 guns made?

Paul,
Yes, I do have numbers and an extrapolated total. Thus far I have surveyed 3,009 Model 1894s in the 354000 – 999999 range, and 10.11% of them are 25-35s, which extrapolates out to 64,842. When that is added to the 36,999 (10.452%) in the ARMAX survey, the total is extrapolated total 101,842. Only the 32-40 is less common at just 91,641.

Paul,
You are welcome.
You might also be surprised by how many 38-55s were made. Through the first 999,999 made, the 38-55 makes up 13.92% (139,185), with the 32 WS at 14.24% (142,393) . The 30 WCF makes up 51% of the total production through serial number 1000000. Keep in mind that the survey only has 3,009 entries in it thus far out of a possible 646,001 specimens. I am actively looking for every serial number I can find in the 354000 – 999999 range (serial number 1,000,000 is on display at the CFM).
