WTBMod 70 Supergrade grip cap circa 1955
Subject to the opinions of our members with M70 expertise -,and there are many – I believe by 1955 the blue steel caps predominated. I think those same caps were used for the Models 21 and 52C Sporting. If so, you might could buy the cap, screw, and associated disc from Browming. The Miroku made 52 Sporting sold under both the Browning and Winchester labels wears the same cap. There are some reproduction part makers on eBay who might carry them as well. Try Homestead Parts.
