I am in need of an octagonal barrel in .38-55 for an early Model 1894 with s/n 35xx. Looking for an original with the period appropriate markings (Type 1):

Fred what is the ser# on Your ’94, just curious as I have ser#3599, case colored deluxe in 38-55
It is, or was, a standard rifle with an octagonal barrel in .38-55.
Serial number was applied for on 2/28/1895, it arrived in the warehouse 9/12/1895 and shipped on 9/13/1895.
It’s a first variation receiver with the cartridge guides being screwed in from the outside.
I bought it as a mostly complete parts lot from a guy in Utah who found it in a storage unit he bought.
I’ve been putting it back together and the last thing I need is a barrel.

This is the correct barrel marking you are looking for.
