For sale: Winchester pre 64 Model 70 Supergrade 458 Win Mag African - Near new!!|Winchester Swap Meet|Forum|Winchester Collector

 Hi guys,

I have a mint 1960 manufactured pre 64 Model 70 458 Win Mag African Supergrade.  Serial number 479,535. I am not one to throw the word mint around – at all – but this gun is near new.  It is 99% overall condition.  Appears barely used.  Came out of an estate, believe it was only ever the one owner, who unfortunately passed, and I came into the rifle.  I am a lever guy (mostly 1894s as some of you know), and am not really into the Winchester bolt action rifles.  Would like to pass this to someone who will really appreciate the rifle.  Would only be better if you found a box and hang tag for the rifle.

I was told it is an $8500 rifle.  Asking $7500 as I am in Canada, so you would have to import the rifle, with some additional fees, but it is very hard to find them in this condition.  Only 1226 made, many cracked their stocks, cannot be too many original ones left, especially near new.  I have seen a few on GunsInternational, none near as nice as this one.
