I am selling my New Haven Arms Company Henry rifle, serial no. 7516, brass-frame Second Model, 1864-65 production range. This gun has matching barrel/lower tang/stock inlet/inside buttplate serial numbers, correct late features, crack-free stock with Henry bump, cleaning rod present, old later sling, and an unidentified lower-tang factory-style touch mark (&). Serial number is adjacent to known 3rd U.S. Veteran Volunteer Infantry Henry rifle serials but is not presently documented to that unit.
Many of you have contributed some fine observations around this gun and it was recommended by another member that I offer it here to the WACA members prior to taking it through an auction of consignment process.
Please PM me for a complete valuation/comp packet as well as for more/detailed high resolution photos.
Considering any and all offers prior to consignment or auction
I would prefer to sell this rifle to an appreciative collector, so reasonably-made and valid offers will be considered.

OfflineWell, I’m hoping they do also, as I’m no expert here, just another fellow collector trying to help out other members.
This great hobby we enjoy is nothing without passionate collectors who enjoy this hobby helping out others along the way.
Look at all the great comments from members who meet up at Cody for the annual celebration and are already making plans for next year!
You’re Welcome Ben!
