I know they didn’t make any in the carbine——BUT I have a Deluxe 1873 SRC in 22 short. with Factory letter and a picture of the page out of the custom shop book documenting the gun in detail. It is case colored, octagon barrel,Fancy wood(4XXX),plain trigger, checkered, very very good condition. Only one I have ever seen or heard of. Thought it was cutoff until I got the letter from Cody. If I could figure out how to put a picture on here I would.Incredible gun.
Rusty,
What is the serial number?
If you want to email me the pictures I can post them for you.

I have 6 of them in my records with shorter than standard barrels. They have 18″, 20″ or 22″ octagon barrels. All 22 Shorts. Some deluxes, plated or engraved.

If you really want to get the photos onto this sight you have to send them to a member or figure out how to get them on an online sight that can be sent to the Forum.
Are we going to see some pictures? Also you said you have a picture of the custom shop book which I have never seen. I assume you mean the warehouse ledger.
