I am selling MY case colored ,94 ser#15333. It letters as follows rifle, 32-40, 28″ oct. bbl., plain trig., checkered stock, casehardened, rec’vd July 1 1897, shipped July 2 1897. Its a beautiful 1894 and the only one built in this configuration. You would have to call Me to get further info as I don’t mess to much with the computer and My wife of 50 years (who did all the pics and stuff) passed away on Me in July. It will be interesting to see what the case colored ’94 sells for at Rock Island Auction in Sept. I still have the factory engraved 1886 ser#77141 and the 1886 50 exp. ser#31318 available. Ihad them sold but the money didn’t happen Ph.#519-522-1764 or cell 519-871-2698

Henry, sorry for your loss,as my best friend said…” don’t these gals know that we’re supposed to go first?”. Prayers and best thoughts are going your way.

Henry,
Even when we know it is coming, our wives’ deaths take much of us with them. I have no advice or solutions to aid you; I’ve none for myself. So, I’ll offer a wish for you–Though she is gone from your days, may you still find Beauty in Life, and in your remaining years know Peace of Spirit.
I’d be pleased to buy your 1894 from you, but I doubt I can meet a satisfactory price. The rifle sounds as if it is worth many thousands.
Thank You for Your kind thoughts and warm wishes. Fortunately Dianne and I had several opportunities to discuss Her or My passing. I had triple bypass surgery 6 Years ago and a very poor family history of heart problems, but they fixed Me. Dianne on the other hand had cardio myapathy which She opted not to treat with a very severe operation. The doctors at that time told Her at Her age it probably would not be fatal and otherwise She was healthy as a horse, so this was pretty sudden. It did however give Us the chance to discuss such things and how We would like to meet Our end and for the remaining One to be able to carry on and live the rest of Their life without guilt or regret. Dianne got to leave this earth just the way We had talked about and prayed forwithout pain and suffering, Thank God. We had a wonderful married relationship and I do miss Her, My life partner for 51 years, something awful. However this life God gave Me will go on and I will live it to the fullest and to the best of My ability. Oh ya, Sure I would like to sell You that case colored ’94, and yes I would like to buy all the ’94 trappers I can afford. Thanks again to all for being so kind. Harry
