Very good to better condition (and very much better than some at other sources). Flat-band, long wood forearm, serial number dates to 1949. Some receiver freckling on the left side but no other rust. Loading gate shows a light mark, so I doubt this one was shot much. Bore is perfect based on visual inspection.
Some wood figure. Heel of stock has repaired chip which brings price down.
Receiver sight drill/tap didn’t start until 1952 (from my reference), so this one doesn’t have the holes. Steel butt plate, semi-buckhorn rear sight and sight hood in place.
I will package it with long plastic case and gun sock for protection.
