I have a nice 76 in 45-75 that belongs to a collector friend with no computer skills. It letters Round barrel rifle with plain trigger. Entered the warehouse 11/7/1885 shipped 8/4/1886. No caliber stated so its defaults to 45-75.
The receiver is about 95% and the barrel and tube is about 98% blue. The wood fit is very good and is standing proud, the forearm looks to have original varnish but the stock might of had varnish added some time ago. There is good traces of case color on the hammer and lever. It has a early 21 front sight without the screw and the proper 1876 marked rear sight. The barrel is 28″ long and has a bright bore, about a 8 out of 10 with some rust pits. The butt plate has very little finish on it and there is a 5 piece cleaning rod in there. There was a tang sight on it at one time because I can see a depression in the wood just aft of the tang and the top tang screws look new.
Asking $10,000

He has a big collection and is getting old and wants to thin it down some. That TD 94 deluxe I posted on the Whats New forum came from him along with a 1st model 73 octagon barrel and a mint 3rd model musket.
