Looking for a for end, for end cap and both cap retainer screws.

Any help would be appreciated.

I have LOTS of old lever action parts I will trade or…..?

 44 cal.

24″ barrel

full octagon.

I would look at Ebay for that. The forearm and cap must be a from a 44 to fit since the barrel on the 44 is larger in size you could use a forearm from a round barrel but would require some fitting.

is the forend cap on a 1873, the same as a 1892 cap?

It all depends on what calibers your comparing. The 73 could have 6 different caps depending on caliber and barrel shape.

I don’t have any 92’s to make a comparison. If you have a micrometer, measure the width of the barrel at the fore end, mag tube diameter and the width of the wood then I’ll check a 73.
