The sight is a Winchester Flat-top Sporting (22-C).  The elevator does not appear to be original to the sight (it looks like those used for the Maelin sights).

And it is in backwards.  If I’m not mistaken Marlin and Colt used this fish hook style.

The elevator is too narrow for the sight.

Here is a picture of a Winchester and Marlin rear sight elevator.  Note the fish hook tip on the Marlin.

Ive seen both of those elevators repurposed for use on a Win.  Never worried about replacing with the correct elevator, just left them on as part of the history of the gun.  Im sure there isnt much difference in the elevation when in use.
