The previous writer has the town and county of William Malcolm’s birth reversed.

William was born in 1823 in Sullivan, New York (formerly named Canasaraga) which is in the Town

of Sullivan in Madison County…just east of Chittenango.

A hearty thanks to you, Mike, for reading our forum and correcting my transcription error regarding the town and county!  I have edited my post to reflect the same.

Best Regards,

James
