Question about ladder sight

On several of my SRCs the rear sight ladder slide is loose and floppy. Is there some sort of spring that might be missing from the slide?

 

on others I have the slide is nice and tight.

 

Also I need a slide and the screw that retains it on the top of the ladder if anyone has extras

It looks like Winchester Bob should have the ladder sight slide stop screw in stock, but looks like he’s out if stock on the ladder sight slide.

Yes

i spoke with him

 

he is out of the slides and the small spring steel spacer that some sliders use.

 

I have some carbines that use a slider with the spring and some that look like they never had one
