OfflineI’m curious to see if there is any indication of welding… the “marriage” of a marlin Rocky Mtn. front end and a the back end of an express sight. The elevation grooves on the body would do a good job of hiding the weld on top, most don’t try to hide their work on hidden areas…. wouldn’t be the first time someone tried to “improve” a sight… FWIW my opinion and $10 might get you a cup of coffee

That had crossed my mind too, but welding, or silver brazing, such thin stock would have required the skill of a master metalsmith, or more likely, jewelry maker.

OfflineThat is very interesting. I’d really like to see it in person…. where are you located? any chance you’ll be at any of the following shows? Missoula, Mt. this week, Portland, Ore. in two weeks, Reno in three weeks, Puyallup WAC show in October, or Reno again in October or Tulsa in November…?
