I just picked up a used Marbles W1 sight to replace the Lyman 1A part number WS that was mounted to my 1894 rifle.
I am wondering how the Marbles sight works or how it can be adjusted. The stem will fold but will not stay in the down position. There’s a little side to side play but I hate to tear into it without instructions .
Marbles have a lock in front of the staff you have to push in. Fold the staff down then push the lock in then release pressure on the staff before you release the lock. Adjustment is the same as the Lyman except you have a lock ring you have to loosen.
