Or is it a problem? Win. ’94s & Marlin ’93s have similar length rcvrs, & neither was D&T for the #21, so is it certain this sight is different from one intended for a ’94? I think a side by side comparison would be needed to know for sure.
I think a paper template for drilling the holes should have been packed with the sight originally.

Gentlemen,
This is all that I found in the Box!
Someone who knows how, please make this readable.
Box obviously not as originally sold…unless Lyman made a practice of selling them in pairs.

OfflineHere you go. Looks like your missing the enclosed template. Best of luck to you in finding one.Sincerely,
Maverick
Thanks, Maverick. Can never get over the apparent assumption that D&T a rcvr. was a “do it yourself” kind of job; of course, everyone owns a drill press, right? These instructions don’t mention it, but many if not most Lyman sights requiring D&T included the tap.

Seems simple enough, and for those that don’t have a drill press I’m sure you can just grab any old brace and bit to crank a couple holes in the receiver. Piece of cake!
