I was wondering if anyone can tell me if these sights are correct for a 1927 30WCF S/N#1012321 Saddle Ring Carbine Model 1894. Have do some research but still not sure so i thought i would ask.

Sorry can’t upload photos for some reason.

It has a Marbles Flexible Tang Sight and an adjustable rear Rifle Sight the front sight is a blade.

If anyone can help me get the photos up it will make it a lot easier.

Cheers

James,

The barrel sights have been changed. The rear barrel sight would normally be a Sporting Leaf and the front sight blade looks to be taller than normal and was just a plain blade.

James, I have a near mint 44A rear sight correct for your rifle. Not cheap. Send me a PM if interested.  Big Larry

The rear barrel sight looks like a King sight to me especially the elevator.  King started business in 1913. King and Sheard were bought out by Lyman later in the 1900’s.   Are these original to the gun, probably not.  Are they of the period I would say possibly.
