OfflineHi Don-
I’m no expert, but IIRC the Redfield Olympics attached to the rifle via a separate (three or four position) base/rail that attaches to the left side of the receiver via the usual pair of receiver sight holes. The sight itself attaches to the base, and it’s the base that has/needs an application code.
The sight has two holes in which the attaching thumbscrew and be located and the base has three or four holes, allowing for six or eight different eye relief positions. Your sight does not include an attaching base, but I believe it will work with anything (M52, M75, M70, and multiple other brands) with the correct code base. There’s a base application code table in Nick Strobel’s book…

OfflineHi Don-
If it helps, here are a couple pics of an Olympic with M70 base rail that I have lying around. It’s pretty obvious how they go together; the base attaches to the receiver and the (removable) sight attaches to the base. I think (???) that your sight is “complete” in the sense that you had to purchase the correct base for your rifle separately.
FWIW… Following up on your original observation, there’s no application code that I can find on the base either!!! Maybe only the box had the code??? The only reason I know this is a M70 base is that I took it off of one…
