Just trying to confirm, when removing a rear dovetail sight on Winchesters, the sight should be driven out from right to left when looking at it from the breach, is this correct?

Hello Larry,

NO!!!!! The rear sight should be removed via pressure from the left side of the sight thus driving it out to the right.
